About this trip
The second Portland to be named but the first Portland in everything else, Portland, Oregon is the land of the weird (see Portlandia), the delicious (named best food city in America), and the beautiful! Join trip leaders Stefan ‘24 (a 3-year Portland, OR veteran who won’t stop reminding you he’s from NY), Miranda ‘24, Alice (SO), and Steph ‘24 (they all went to Portland, Maine, during their pre-f(x) and are desperate for a do-over), and Ben ‘24 (an East coastal elite who insists that Portland, ME is “actually” quite nice but finds himself leading a trip to Portland, OR nonetheless) on an unforgettable adventure. Activities will include a hike through Silver Falls State Park to see – not one, not two, but ten! – stunning waterfalls, a leisurely beach day in the picturesque town of Cannon Beach, a wine tasting in the world-famous Willamette Valley, a drive through the Columbia River Gorge to see some of the country’s most beautiful vistas and waterfalls, a stroll through Portland’s International Test Rose Garden and Japanese Garden, and many a night out on the town eating the best food Portland has to offer. Join us for an unforgettable start to your MBA!
