Join us for an unforgettable MBA launch in Andover, Maine, a quintessential New England escape that promises a memorable start to your Sloan journey. We'll be spending three nights at one of Maine's greatest historical compounds, a sprawling estate that offers an ideal backdrop for both outdoor and indoor activities. Nestled in a region renowned for its stunning natural beauty, we look forward to connection, adventure, and experiencing the authentic charm of one of North America's most picturesque areas.

Expect a dynamic blend of activities designed to foster camaraderie and create lasting memories. From the spirited team challenges of the Sloan Olympics and hiking exploration of Maine's landscapes (including a dip in our estate’s private pond!), to an intriguing Murder Mystery night in a historic setting, your days will be full. Evenings will offer relaxed, self-hosted socials perfect for forging connections with your new classmates as you celebrate the beginning of your MBA experience.

Your Trip will be led by:

• Leo ’26: A true New Yorker, his past as a trader will make him turn everything into a game (better check your odds if you bet against him)

• Till ’26: Movie aficionado and, true to his German heritage, an enthusiast for all things with an engine

• Maya ’26: Sloan’s greatest scout for the next big party, Maya is a proud graduate of MIT’s DJ class

• Tomer ’26: Hiking in the Himalayas and staying in the jungle in South America made him even more adventure hungry (despite still appreciating the comforts our Maine trip hast to offer)

Itinerary

Friday, August 29th

• Noon: Drive from Cambridge to Andover

• Late Afternoon: Arrival & Welcome Drinks at the compound

• Evening: Dinner (cooked by your trip leaders!)

Saturday, August 30th

• Morning to early Afternoon: Explore moderate hiking trails through the beautiful local landscape

• Evening: Dinner out in town

• Night: Murder Mystery at the compound

Sunday, August 31st

• Daytime: Lake Day! Enjoy the water and some fun activities.

• Late Afternoon/Early Evening: Barbecue at the compound

• Evening: The Sloan Olympics!

• Night: Open-ended night with some good music

Monday, September 1st

• Morning: Breakfast at the compound

• Late Morning: Departure back to Cambridge
