About this trip

Get ready for pristine beaches, beautiful lakes, lush valleys, and towering volcanoes in the Hawaii of Europe!

We’re going to the Azores, Portuguese islands roughly 2/3 of the way between Boston and mainland Portugal. If lounging on the beach, hiking through mountains and along lakes, jumping in thermal springs, snorkeling (or scuba diving) in the ocean, and partying in a villa sounds fun, this is your trip!

This trip will be led by intrepid engineers-turned-MBAs Heeje and Griff, who met and trauma-bonded on last year’s Bahamas Pre-FX and are here to make sure all of you (regular-)bond in the Azores!

Itinerary

Late Thursday August 28: Depart Boston

Friday August 29: Arrive in Azores, visit Sete Cidades, Vista do Rei, and Monte Palace hotel, check into Airbnb, cook dinner and officially kick off the trip!

Saturday August 30: Snorkeling trip (or scuba if certified), beach day, go out in Ponta Delgada

Sunday August 31: Light hike, visit thermal pools, explore Ponta Delgada 

Monday September 1: Depart Azores for Boston
