About this trip

Imagine loving your semi-"hometown" so much that you'd give up going on another Pre-f(x) trip to show your fellow Sloanies around. Well, that's how much I love Austin, and I can't wait to share my favorite spots around town with you. This trip is particularly suited for those who enjoy being active & in bodies of water; we’ll paddle board/hang out on Lady Bird Lake, swim in Barton Springs, and boat on Lake Travis. Like tacos? Spicy margaritas? Brisket? You'll also experience the legendary foods Austin has to offer, from authentic Mexican & Tex-Mex to Texas-style BBQ & Hot Chicken. At night, we'll kick back and explore the variety of nightlife in Austin, from hip East Side backyard-style hangouts to the more "chic" Rainey Street bungalow bars, with live music sprinkled in between. Who knows, maybe we'll end up at what the locals call Dirty 6th.… Join me, Tarek Makawi (MBA’23), on this incredible adventure!
