About this trip

Spend a long weekend enjoying the best Northern California has to offer: hiking on a coastal trail, beaches, oyster shucking, lazy floating down a river, California fare, and visits to breweries and wineries! We’ll be heading to a house situated 45 minutes north of San Francisco and equidistant from the legendary California wine and microbrewery region and the beautiful Point Reyes coastal region.

We’ll spend the first day getting to know each other on the Dipsea Trail, at Stinson Beach, shucking oysters in Tomales Bay and grabbing dinner at a famous Puerto Rican restaurant. Another day, we’ll float down the Russian River, enjoy lunch at Russian River Brewing (arguably the best microbrewery in the Bay Area!), and spend the afternoon at a winery. Expect to socialize at a themed party one evening and sing karaoke (terribly is encouraged) another evening at the house! We will spend Labor Day exploring San Francisco for those that want to take a red eye back to Boston (in time for classes on September 7th!) and say goodbye to those who want to head out during the day.

September 3 Arrive in the Bay Area, Optional Brewery Tour, Welcome Dinner

September 4 Hike Dipsea Trail, Lunch at Stinson Beach, Oyster Shucking, Watch the Sunset, Themed Party

September 5 Lazy River Float, Lunch at Russian River Brewing, Winery, Closing Dinner, Karaoke

September 6 Explore San Francisco, Depart for Boston
